Unlike weekly sessions, Immersions provide a concentrated period of therapeutic work, typically involving three to five 90 minute blocks over 24 hours to three days.
Rest periods are an important part of Immersions, and are also therapeutic in nature. Support is provided between all sessions, and for seven days after conclusion.
Brainspotting clients can access deeply held trauma by focusing on specific eye positions while also tuning into their feelings––leading to the pivotal insight that “where you look affects how you feel.”
By guiding you to focus on specific points in your visual field, I help access and process trauma stored in deeper, non-verbal areas of the brain. This method bypasses the need for you to articulate everything verbally, providing a more direct and effective path to healing.
Over the years, Brainspotting has emerged as a more flexible and intuitive way to work with both the brain and body, helping to access unprocessed emotional pain.
It has proven particularly effective in working with acute trauma, anxiety, dissociation, attachment disruptions, developmental trauma, and other challenges.
Brainspotting combines insights from neuroscience with a flexible, client-centered approach to help you tap into the brain’s natural ability to process trauma and emotional distress.
Unlike other modalities, Brainspotting doesn’t rely on rigid protocols or complex techniques. In fact, one of its greatest strengths is how easily it adapts to a wide range of therapeutic styles and client needs.
Brainspotting helps you to access memories and emotions that may be stored in the subconscious, allowing for deeper processing of traumatic experiences.
Both of these approaches offered separately or combined in an Immersion, often achieve resolution, deep awareness and resulting insight throughout the days and weeks afterwards.
Immersions are more rapidly transformative in nature, bring greater clarity and often create a cascade of personal and professional change for months afterwards.
Brainspotting / EMDR Immersion Series start at $900 for three sessions over a 12-24 hour period, up to $1,500 for five sessions over two or three days in succession. Both include 7 days of ongoing support.

Alleviating emotional distress alleviates the problem. Immersions are a way of intervening in a focused and deliberate way. Group therapy provides social coherence, brings down distress, and is more economical.
